This is my last newsletter and brings to a conclusion my year as President of this Club. It has been enjoyable and personally satisfying. I have had invaluable support from my fellow committee members and others, who have all worked hard for the benefit of all our Club members. I trust the person who follows me in this role will find it equally fulfilling.
A highlight for me has been our move from our long time base at North Sydney Leagues Club to the welcoming and cooperative venue here at Northbridge Golf Club, a move that appears to have unanimous support.
I welcome all our new members over this last twelve months, and regret the losses we have experienced.
Today we will elect a new committee, and some new faces will emerge into new roles. Be assured the new committee will continue to keep our Club moving forward.
On 1st March, for the second year, we brought our long serving but now inactive members together for lunch. It was a very pleasant occasion.
I would like to thank all our members for their support during this year.
Membership report: Our membership is now 56 (33 women and 23 men).
Many happy returns for your March birthday Kristina T 01, Don B 08, Lis T 18, and Elizabeth S 30.
